Ha Noi (October 30th, 2013) – Minister Trinh Dinh Dung, accompanied by heads of the MOC’s functional departments and agencies, received and worked with An Giang province’s mission led by Mr. Phan Van Sau, An Giang Party Secretary, at the MOC’s head office.
At the meeting, Mr. Huynh The Nang (Standing Vice President of An Giang People’s Committee) reported to Minister Trinh Dinh Dung on implementation of the local Party’s 9th resolution for period 2011 – 2015 and the local People’s Council’s resolution on socio-economic development from 2011 to 2015, and asked for the MOC’s help, especially in construction investment, land use right transferred to citizens according to approved plan, borrowing money to build social house. Mr. Nang also proposed to add Long Xuyen city in the National Program Upgrading Urban Areas 2009 – 2020 persuant to Decision 758/QD-TTg dated on 8th June, 2009 by the Prime Minister.
Minister Trinh Dinh Dung praised An Giang province’s leader for their concern in construction management and urban development; noted them to pay more attention to building quality, energy efficiency, improving management capacity; suggested An Giang Construciton Department establish Urban Management Unit… The Minister highly appreciated An Giang for their good willing intention of building social house for the poor and in the flooded areas. Under its functions, the MOC reminds An Giang to seriously follow Decrees, Decisions and legal documents related to urban development…
On behalf of An Giang province, Mr. Phan Van Sau thanked the MOC’s leaders for their concern and guide, and promised to pay more attention to local planning, construction investment, urban development.
