On May 7^th, 2026, in Hanoi, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van held a reception and working session with a delegation of French enterprises visiting Vietnam to attend the France–Vietnam Railway Forum organized by Business France, the trade agency of the French Embassy in Vietnam.

Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh and the Republic of Korea (RoK)’s Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Kim Yun-duk held talks on April 21 in Hanoi.

On April 16^th, 2026, in Ha Noi, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van held a meeting with a high-level business delegation from the US-ASEAN Business Council, co-led by Penny Burtt, President of Boeing Southeast Asia and Mr. Vu Tu Thanh, Acting Regional Managing Director and Head of USABC's representative office in Vietnam, to discuss strengthening cooperation in transport infrastructure, urban development, and logistics.

On the morning of April 16^th, 2026, in Hanoi, the Deputy Minister of Construction, Nguyen Tuong Van, met and worked with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Vietnam, Mr. Sherpa Wangchuk Tshering, to discuss bilateral cooperation and directions for promoting cooperation in the fields of aviation, maritime, railway, and transport infrastructure development.

From April 13 to 17, 2026, a Vietnamese delegation led by Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Danh Huy attended the 113th session of the Legal Committee (LEG 113) of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), held in London, United Kingdom.

From April 4–8, 2026, a working delegation from Vietnam’s Ministry of Construction, led by Deputy Minister Phạm Minh Hà, visited and worked in China to exchange experience in the design and construction of railway bridges and combined rail-road cable-stayed bridges for both rail and road traffic.

On April 7^th in Hanoi, Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh held a meeting with Laos Minister of Public Works and Transport Leklay Sivilay to discuss promoting key transport infrastructure connectivity projects under bilateral cooperation.

In implementation of the Ministry of Construction’s 2026 cooperation plan approved by the Prime Minister, from March 31st to April 3rd, 2026, delegation from the Ministry of Construction led by Deputy Minister Le Anh Tuan, attended the International Transport and Logistics Forum (ITLF) organized by the Government of the Russian Federation.
