On 9th October, 2013 at the headquarter of the Ministry of Construction, Deputy Minister Nguyen Tran Nam had a meeting with Ms. Jutta Frasch - Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Vietnam.
At the meeting , Deputy Minister Nguyen Tran Nam expressed his welcome Ambassador Jutta Frasch and members of the delegation visited and worked with the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam. At the same time, he appreciated the friendly relationship between Vietnam and Germany.
Since the two countries established the strategic partnership, both sides have achieved the good cooperation in all fields including construction. German Ambassador Jutta Frasch also expressed that the relationship between the two strategic partners between Germany and Vietnam had been developed by the time in the economic cooperation, especially in the programs and projects. German investors and companies are very interested in investment opportunities in Vietnam including the housing sector.
According to Ambassador Jutta Frasch, the housing matter, especially the resettlement housing is a burden for Vietnam, if it is applicable the model savings bank for housing loan could be solved the pressure. On the issue of housing in Vietnam, Deputy Minister Nguyen Tran Nam said the Ministry of Construction is studying the model of Germany and the Czech Republic and having an agreement between the related organizations.
In the draft revised of Land Law, the Ministry of Construction (MOC) has taken on the condition of savings banks for housing loans. However, in parallel with the preparation of the legal framework, the inspection of fieldwork, survey requirements are continued to be deployed. MOC will direct the related organizations to work closely with BSH. The Ministry of Construction hopes that with the support from German Ambassador in Viet Nam, the cooperation in the field of related construction between the two sides will be strongly developed in the future.
