At the National Achievements Exhibition commemorating the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the “Aspiration for the Sky” sub-area, with its unique experiences, offered visitors unforgettable impressions, highlighting the distinctive mark of the Ministry of Construction, including the transport sector at the exhibition. The fact that the exhibition opened exactly on the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Transport Sector (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025) further enhanced the exhibition zone’s sense of pride and significance.

The meeting was held in Hanoi on 27^th August. Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van and Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment of Cuba Déborah Rivas Saavedra chaired the meeting.

Vietnamese Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh held a working session in Hanoi on August 1^st with Australian Ambassador to Vietnam Gillian Bird in presence of leaders of units under the Ministry of Construction; officials and experts from the Australian Embassy to Vietnam.

On July 29^th, 2025, in Hanoi, Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh had a meeting and worked with Mr. Iain Frew - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom to Vietnam on enhancing cooperation between the two sides in the fields of infrastructure, transportation, especially in the railway and aviation sectors. Leaders of units under the Ministry of Construction; officials and experts of the British Embassy in Vietnam; representatives of Arup Group, Swire Group, Rolls Royce Group attended the meeting.

On July 23, 2025, in Hanoi, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Xuan Sang hosted a reception for Cuba’s First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Genrardo Penalver Portal.

Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh inspected the construction progress of the Rach Mieu 2 Bridge, which links Dong Thap Province and Vinh Long Province, on the morning of July 12.

Along with the commencement and implementation of various transport projects, the goal of completing 3,000km of expressways is also heading in the right direction, said Minister of Construction Trần Hồng Minh.

On July 3^rd, 2025, in Hanoi, Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh met and worked with the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to Vietnam Azeddine Bechka.

On the occasion of attending the 16th Annual Pioneers Meeting of the World Economic Forum and working in China, on June 25^th, in Tianjin City, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh worked the leaders of Siemens Group (Germany).

Implementing the 2025 international cooperation plan approved by the Prime Minister, a working delegation of the Ministry of Construction led by Deputy Minister Nguyen Danh Huy visited and worked in China from June 10-13, 2025 to attend the 52nd Session of the Organization for Railway Cooperation (OSJD) Ministerial Conference.
