Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba in Vietnam(19/01/2024)

Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi had a meeting with Mr. Orlando Nicolas Hernandez Guillen, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to Vietnam on January 18th, 2024 at the Headquarters of the Ministry of Construction, in attendance of  Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Cuban Embassy in Vietnam - Mr. Irmina Perojo, Mr. Nguyen Trung Thanh, Director of the International Cooperation Department and Ms. Pham Thi Hong My, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Department.

  • Construction Newspaper coordinated with the Vietnam Real Estate Association, Real Estate Review Community and related units to organize the Forum "Real Estate Market 2024 - Identifying challenges and opportunities for recovery” on January 18th, 2024 in Hochiminh city. Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh; leaders of a number of units under the Ministry of Construction; leaders of specialized construction associations; corporations, real estate investors, real estate distribution businesses attended the Forum.

  • On January 17th, 2024, at the Ministry of Construction, Deputy Minister Bui Xuan Dung received and worked with Mr. Jean-Jacques Bouflet - Vice President of the European Chamber of Commerce (EuroCham) in Vietnam. Leaders of units under the Ministry of Construction; Leader of a number of Subcommittees of EuroCham Vietnam attended the meeting.

  • On January 12, 2024, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Construction organized a Conference to announce "Planning for exploration, exploitation, processing and using of minerals as construction materials in the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050” in online and offline form. Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh; representatives of the Government Office, ministries, central branches, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; leaders of local People's Committees nationwide attended the Conference.

  • The 16th meeting on technical cooperation in the field of drainage and wastewater treatment between the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) of Japan took place in Hanoi on December 26th. Mr. Ta Quang Vinh - Director of the Department of Technical Infrastructure (Ministry of Construction) and Mr. Matsubara Makoto - Director of the Department of Drainage and Wastewater Management (MLIT) co-chaired the meeting.

  • On December 15 th, 2023, in Hanoi, the signing ceremony of cooperation agreements between the Institute of Urban Development Management (under the Academy of Managers for Construction and Cities) and 3 units including the Institute of Digital transformation strategy  (under Vietnam Digital Media Association), Institute of Tropical Architecture (under Hanoi University of Architecture), Green Growth Research Institute (under Vietnam Academy of Agriculture) took palce in Hanoi, on December 15th. This is a content within the framework of the Project "Strengthening institutions and enhancing capacity for urban development in Vietnam" funded by the Swiss Government through the Swiss Federal Economic Directorate (SECO). There were representatives of leaders of the governing units and units directly implementing the signing.

  • The third VIETBUILD Hanoi 2023 International Exhibition with the theme "Real Estate - Interior and Exterior Decoration - Architecture - Construction and Construction Materials" officially kicked off at the National Architectural Planning & Construction Exhibition Centre on November 29th.

  • That is the assertion of Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh at  a Opening Ceremony of the International Exhibition on machinery, technology and materials for the Ceramics industry 2023 (Asean Ceramics Exhibition 2023) that is taken place in Hanoi, on November 28th. The exhibition lasts for 3 days, from November 28 to November 30.

  • On November 23, 2023, in Da Nang city, the Academy of Managers for Construction and Cities (Ministry of Construction) coordinated with the United Nations Human Settlements Program (UN-Habitat) to organize a pilot training course on sustainable urban development within the framework of the project "Strengthening institutions and building capacity for urban development in Vietnam" (ISCB Project) funded by the Swiss Federal Bureau of Economic Affairs ( SECO).

  • On November 8, 2023, the Vietnam Urban Sustainability Summit 2023 took place in Hanoi in attendance of Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi; Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission Nguyen Duc Hien; former leaders of the Ministry of Construction; representatives of ministries, central branches, domestic and international agencies and organizations.

  • The Ministry of Construction organized a seminar on "Urban planning towards sustainable urban development" on November 8th in attendance of domestic and international managers, experts, and business representatives. Director of the Department of Planning and Architecture Tran Thu Hang chaired the workshop. This is an event within the framework of the Vietnam Urban Sustainable Development Summit 2023.
