On December 11th, 2025, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Construction held a meeting of the Advisory Council for Evaluation and Acceptance of the results of the Science and Technology Task “Researching solutions to amend regulations on worker skill levels in the current system of norms and construction labor unit prices, aiming to improve the system of cost-estimating norms and market-based methods for determining construction labor prices,” carried out by the Institute of Construction Economics. Le Minh Long, Deputy Director General of the Department of Science, Technology, Environment and Building Materials, and Chairman of the Council, chaired the meeting.

The Ministry of Construction held a training conference on the use of the information system and database on housing and the real estate market on December 5^th. The conference took place in a hybrid format, with an in-person session at the Ministry’s headquarters (37 Le Đai Hanh Street, Hai Ba Trung Ward, Hanoi), combined with online sessions connected to related ministries, sectors, and localities. Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh; leaders from the Ministry’s Office, the Department of Housing and Real Estate Market Management, the Information Technology Center, and the Viettel Military Industry and Telecommunications Group attended the conference.

On December 3^rd, 2025, the State Inspection Council for Construction Acceptance held a meeting to evaluate the results of the acceptance of the completion and commissioning of the Nhon Trach 4 Power Plant project under the Nhon Trach 3 and Nhon Trach 4 Power Plant projects invested by the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PV Power).

On December 6th, 2025, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Construction held a meeting of the Advisory Council for the evaluation and acceptance of the results of the scientific and technological task titled “Research and proposal of zero-carbon building models for several types of constructions,” implemented by the Center for Urban and Industrial Environment. The meeting was chaired by Nguyen Huu Tien, Deputy Director General of the Department of Science, Technology, Environment and Building Materials, who serves as Chairman of the Council.

During the field inspection of Long Thanh International Airport and working with relevant parties, Deputy Minister of Construction Pham Minh Ha requested to continually accelerate construction, soon complete the technical flight scenario and organize the event on December 19th.

Within the framework of cooperation between the Department for Roads of Vietnam and the Korean Road Administration, a delegation of the Korean Road Administration - Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of Korea (MOLIT) led by Mr. Lee Woo Je, Director of the Korean Road Administration, visited and worked with the Department for Roads of Vietnam and visited and surveyed the Hai Van tunnel of the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway from December 3-4, 2025 and attended the Eighth Annual Conference on road traffic cooperation between Vietnam and Korea held on December 3rd, 2025, in Da Nang.

On December 3rd, 2025, in Hanoi, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Xuan Sang had a meeting and worked with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Finland to Vietnam Pekka Voutilainen on strengthening cooperation in the field of transport infrastructure development between the two sides.

Allowing the Government to approve the feasibility study report for Phase 2 of the Long Thanh International Airport project (Dong Nai) without requiring submission to the National Assembly will facilitate earlier investment research and save time and costs.

On December 2^nd, 2025, within the framework of the program of General Secretary To Lam's State visit to Laos and attending the 50th anniversary of the National Day of the Lao PDR, co-chairing the annual meeting of the two Politburoes and the program of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh co-chairing the 48th meeting of the Vietnam - Laos Intergovernmental Committee, Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh had a courtesy visit and worked with Lao Minister of Public Works and Transport Leklay Sivilay at the headquarters of the Lao Ministry of Public Works and Transport.
