Association of Architects, the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism jointly organized the National architecture awards 2020 – 2021 on December 29^th.

The 39th session of the Vietnam - Cuba Intergovernmental Committee (UBLCP) was held in the online form on December 28th 2021 with the co-chair of the Vietnamese Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi and Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment Rodrigo Malmierca Diaz, Co-Chairman of Cuba – Vietnam Intergovernmental Committee.

On December 21, 2021, in Hanoi, the Department of Technical Infrastructure (Ministry of Construction of Vietnam) coordinated with the Department of Sewerage and Sewerage Management (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to organize a Vietnam - Japan webinar on climate change response in the field of drainage. Director General Mai Thi Lien Huong and Director General Ryuji UEMATSU co-chaired the webinar.

Vietbuild Home 2021 with the theme Real Estate - Interior and exterior decoration & Housewares was officially held on the morning of December 17, at VIECC Convention Exhibition Center - EXPO - Quang Trung Software Area, Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of 207 businesses.

The Ministry of Construction and the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH Corporation) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the fields of social housing, energy-saving housing, development and management of smart cities, green cities and urban reconstruction on December 3^rd.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired the first meeting of the National Committee on Digital Transformation via videoconference on November 30. He  said the debut of the committee is meant to realize the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress regarding digital transformation, in the context of digital transformation becoming a common trend of the world and an objective requirement of national development.

Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Islamic Republic of Iran to Vietnam Ali Akbar at the MoC’s headquarters on November 23rd.

Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi had an online meeting with Sakae Corporate Advisory, Surbana Jurong and a number of Singaporean businesses on a proposal to pilot the model industrial urban and worker housing development based to Singapore's experience. Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh and leaders of functional departments and agencies under MoC attended the online meeting.

The Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association (VWSA) cooperated with Informa Markets/SES Vietnam to open the VIETWATER 2021 exhibition and the conference "Water supply solutions for the Mekong Delta to adapt to climate change" in the online form. Ms. Mai Thi Lien Huong - Director of the Department of Technical Infrastructure; leaders of units under the MoC attended the event.

The Ministry of Construction in collaboration with the Association of Vietnam Cities (ACVN), the Vietnam Association of Urban Planning and Development (VUPDA) and the Vietnam Urban Forum (VUF) organized the online conference to celebrate Vietnam Urban Day, with the theme “Urbanization in Vietnam responding to emerging challenges of climate change, natural disasters and epidemic” on November 8th. Deputy Minister of Construction Le Quang Hung chaired the conference.
