On October 21st, 2025, at the headquarters of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Minister Tran Hong Minh, Deputy Minister Nguyen Tuong Van and the delegation of the Ministry of Construction presented 5 billion VND to support people in areas affected by storms No. 10 and No. 11. Minister Tran Hong Minh shared and responded to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support people in areas affected by storms, the collective leadership, cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Ministry of Construction organized a donation and support of 5 billion VND to share difficulties with people in affected localities, demonstrating the spirit of "Mutual love", "The healthy leaves cover the torn leaves" of the Vietnamese nation.

On October 17th, 2025, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Association of Civil Engineering Environment (VACEE) in collaboration with the Vietnam Green Building Program and the EDGE Green Building Certification System under the International Finance Corporation (IFC) organized a conference on "Green buildings combined with energy-saving cooling solutions for health and environmental protection".

On October 16-17, 2025, in Phu Quoc (Kien Giang province), the Ministry of Construction coordinated with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) to organize a workshop on Mid-term Report and consultation on the implementation of the Project "Technical assistance to enhance urban development management capacity to respond to climate change through the development of the Vietnam Urban Planning and Development Management Information System (UPIS)".

To implement the foreign affairs program approved by the Prime Minister, Minister of Construction Trần Hồng Minh led a Ministry of Construction delegation to Japan from October 15 to October 16, 2025. The purpose of the visit was to promote cooperation between Vietnam and Japan in the fields of urban development, water supply and drainage, wastewater treatment, and climate change adaptation in the construction sector.
