On the morning of July 01, 2011, at the Ministry of Construction, Deputy Minister Trinh Dinh Dung received a Japanese business delegation to explore opportunities investment and cooperation in construction sector in Vietnam.
Cordially greeting the guests, Deputy Minister Dung focused with satisfaction on the high level of Vietnamese-Japanese partnership successfully maintained in a broad range of the fields including the system infrastructure development, energy and environment, real estate, equipment supply, science and technology,... and show that Japan is the largest ODA donor for Vietnam.

The Japanese partners thanked Trinh Dinh Dung for the opportunity to discuss the priority issues of co-operation during the personal meeting and assured that the Japanese large companies stood ready to offer their expertise, innovations and advanced technologies to Vietnam. Currently, through the Vietnam-Japan Sun joint stock company (VIJASUN), Japanese companies has conducted eight investment projects in Vietnam such as: Pha Lai Thermal Power Plant 2, Muong La Hydro-electric Power Plant, PV Power Drill, ...

Deputy Minister Trinh Dinh Dung affirmed that Vietnam is an attractive investment environment, the Ministry of Construction hoped that Japanese companies to continue investment in Vietnam in the future, especially in construction sector, and Ministry of Construction would create favourable conditions for Japanese businesses investing in the country, as the bridge between investors and companies, with local to promote cooperation in trade and investment.
