On January 15, at the Ministry of Construction, the signing ceremony of MOU of the project "Drainage and Flood-Proofing Projects at Medium-Sized Cities in the Coastal Plains of Vietnam (FPP) in response to climate change" between the Ministry of Construction and International Cooperation Germany (GIZ). The Deputy Minister of Construction Cao Lai Quang and Mrs. Franziska Lang - Counsellor of the German Embassy in Vietnam and others attended the signing ceremony.
Recently, the Government of Vietnam cares about the existing situation of drainage, flooding in urban areas. Vietnam has been identified as one of the countries affected by climate change, therefore, flood-proofing and drainage are urgent tasks at the localities in Vietnam.
