Ministry of Construction held an online meeting of July 2011
On 19th July 2011, Ministry of Construction held an online meeting toreview the result of the Sector’s activities in the first six months of2011 and implement the tasks of the last six months of 2011. The meetingwas presided by Minister Nguyen Hong Quan.
Attending the meeting were representatives of Government Office; Deputy Ministers of Construction Ministry; leaders of the Provincial Departments of Construction, leaders of some economic groups and corporations and representatives of Department under the Ministry of Construction; and the reporters from media agencies.
In the first six months of 2011, the nation’s and world’s socio-economic situation still faced many difficulties and challenges with new disadvantages. However, thanks to the timely guidance of the Government, the efforts of state management agencies and businesses in implementing the Government’s Resolution No. 02/NQ-CP dated 9th January 2011 and the Resolution No. 11/NQ-CP dated 24th February 2011, the economy keeps maintaining the stability and getting positive results.
In the first six months of 2011, production and business of the Corporation under the Ministry is maintained, the industrial production value increased by 18.3 percent over the same period in 2010, contributing to the strictly implement of the big targets that the Government has set in 2011.
