Ho Chi Minh City ranked sixth among the most dynamic cities in the world, according to the recent 2015 City Momentum Index of the real estate services and investment management firm Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL).

The City is emerging as a crucial economic developing center in Asia, said Director within the Global Research Programs team at JLL Jeremy Kelly.
He added that the City's investments in key infrastructure facilities such as the first metro line, contributed to accelerating Viet Nam’s GDP growth.
HCM City attracted more than US$1.2 billion in Foreign Direct Investment in the first half of 2015. The US$1.4 billion-Samsung factory at the Saigon Hi-tech Park illustrates foreign investors’ increasing interest in the city.
Head for Viet Nam JLL Stephen Wyatt noted that the city has remarkably developed over the recent two years thanks to the improvement in the economic conditions and belief in the market.
