An urban transport development project officially started in Hanoi on March 22 with preferential loans from the World Bank and charter capital from the capital city worth US$30 million.
The project to build a belt road No 2 linking Nhat Tan bridge to Cau Giay junction aims to reduce heavy traffic in Hanoi as well as along the Bac Thang Long-Noi Bai route. Addressing the ground-breaking ceremony, General Director of the Song Hong Construction Corporation Dang Tien Phong pledged, on behalf of project contractors, to ensure the progress and quality of the project.
