On 20th Sept., 2013 , at the headquarter of the Ministry of Construction, Deputy Minister Bui Pham Khanh had a meeting with the delegation of Senator Yukihisa Fujita. At the meeting in the Ministry of Construction side, there were representatives from a number of departments and some bussiness under the Ministry of Construction. For the Japanese side, the leader was Mr. Yukihisa Fujita, Chairman of the Policy Committee of the National Senate, former Deputy Minister of Finance of Japan and some chief executives of bussiness epresenting a typical Japanese companies.
Deputy Minister Bui Pham Khanh welcomed the Japanese delegation and Senator to visit and work at the Ministry of Construction on the occasion of celebrating 40 years of diplomatic relation between Vietnam and Japan. The Deputy introduced to Japan delegation about functions and tasks of the Ministry of Construction and specified the close relationship between the Ministry of Construction Viet Nam and Ministry of Land , Infrastructure, transportation information and tourism of Japan (MLIT ) in many areas.
Senator Yukihisa Fujita also expressed his thanks to the Deputy Minister and representative of departments spent time to receive the Japanese delegation. During a working visit to the Ministry of Construction this time, Yukihisa Fujita hoped that to create good cooperation with the Ministry of Construction in transferring advanced technologies from Japan to Vietnam, technical cooperation and personnel training in the field of construction, urban development and eco cities.
Deputy Minister Bui Pham Khanh said that Vietnam and Japan have similar culture which rooted for long time tradition, therefore the Japanese companies will intend to invest and cooperate more in Vietnam and Vietnam is willing to cooperate and give incentives to encourage Japanese companies in Vietnam market.
