Ha Noi (October 7th, 2013) – A ceremony asking for donation to the Central provinces’ fellows suffered from flood, which was attended by Minister Trinh Dinh Dung, Deputy Ministers Cao Lai Quang, Tran Van Son, Nguyen Thanh Nghi, Bui Pham Khanh, Nguyen Dinh Toan, Permanent Vice Chairman of Vietnam Construction Union Nguyen Thi Thuy Le, the MOC’s Union Chairman Tran Thi Luu and all the MOC’s public servants and staff, took place at the head office of the MOC.

The MOC’s Union Chairman Tran Thi Luu asked for donation to the Central provinces’ fellows who suffered much from severe storms and floods, especially the storm No. 10 which resulted in hundreds of houses collapsed and thousands ones flooded, many schools, offices, public buildings heavily damaged, tens of thousands of hectares of crops submerged… Responding to the appeal of the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Central Committee and Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, the MOC’s Union asked each staff to donate one day wage for those poor fellows in the Central provinces such as Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, helping them partly surpass this difficult situation.

As a result, the MOC gathered 470 million VND in total to support the Central provinces suffered from disaster.
