Permanent Deputy Minister of Construction Cao Lai Quang meeting with Chairman of Vitens Company

On 26th Sept., at the headquarter of the Ministry of Construction, Permanent Deputy Minister of Construction Cao Lai Quang had a meeting with Chairman of Vitens Company (Netherlands) – Declercq MSc and CEO of Vitens Ecides international company - Mr. Ir. Gerhard M. van den Top of anti-loss problem in water supply.
Deputy Minister Cao Lai Quang briefly introduced the functions, tasks and areas of Ministry of Construction including issues related to water supply and water loss control.
According to L.C.A. Declercq: VEI's strategy is to increase the operational efficiency of the units supplying urban water by sustainable methods and services to the urban poor. VEI is very eager to learn about the Vietnam anti-loss program so that the company can participate in.
The Ministry of Construction is interested to cooperate with international business and organizations with extensive experience in the field of water supply. Deputy Minister expressed that it is confidence in collaboration with VEI which will bring effectiveness in reducing the rate of water loss in Vietnam.
