Hanoi (September 18th, 2013) – Minister Trinh Dinh Dung warmly welcomed and gave Merit awarding in honour of Mr. Yasuaki Tanizaki, Japanese Ambassador in Vietnam for his effort in Construction field.

Minister Trinh Dinh Dung confirmed good relationship between Vietnam and Japan, especially in this year of celebrating the 40th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries. Recently, Japan has closely cooperated with Vietnam in many fields, which in turn significantly contributed to the development of Vietnam. Japan is the largest ODA funder in Vietnam, focusing on building infrastructure. Thanks to the relationship between the two countries in general and between the MOC and the MLIT in particular, the MOC’s ability and capacity was enhanced to further develop Vietnam Construction field. Minister Trinh Dinh Dung highly appreciated the Ambassador for his fundamental role during his 3 years of term in Vietnam to improve relationship between two countries and two ministries. Therefore, the MOC decided to praise Ambassador Yasuaki Tanizaki by giving him a Merit Awarding. Minister Dung hoped that the Ambassador would help to further develop Vietnam – Japan bilateral relationship.

Mr. Yasuaki Tanizaki thanked Minister Trinh Dinh Dung and stated that like Vietnam, Japan had to cope with many difficulties in development, and Japanese would be willing to share their experience with Vietnamese to help Vietnam develop both economy and society sustainably. The Ambassador Yasuaki Tanizaki acknowledged the MOC’s role in Vietnam’s industrialization and mordernization process. Despite the fact that his term as Ambassador in Vietnam ends, Mr. Yasuaki Tanizaki promised to further support Vietnam.
