On December 17th, in Hanoi, Vietnam Airlines and Singapore Airport Terminal Services (SATS) signed a strategic cooperation agreement, opening up new development opportunities between the two leading airlines in the region.

Vietnam Airlines and Singapore Airport Terminal Services (SATS) Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement.
Under the newly signed agreement, SATS will prioritize Vietnam Airlines in providing ground services and cargo services at airports within its network, while also supporting with equipment, personnel, and operational solutions to ensure high-quality standards.
On the part of Vietnam Airlines, the airline will consider prioritizing the use of services provided by SATS and its affiliated companies when implementing operational packages in suitable markets, based on the principles of ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with legal regulations. Both sides also agreed to continue discussions to implement future cooperation projects, including a proposal to develop a new cargo terminal in Vietnam.
Mr. Le Hong Ha, General Director of Vietnam Airlines emphasized the cooperation between Vietnam Airlines and SATS is an important step in efforts to improve service quality, optimize costs, and strengthen the airline's international operating capacity. As one of Asia's leading aviation service groups, SATS will bring many added values to Vietnam Airlines' operations. SATS's partnership will contribute to creating more practical value for customers and for the development of Vietnam Airlines in the future.
This agreement not only strengthens the foundation for ground services and cargo operations but also expands the scope for coordination between Vietnam Airlines and SATS in specialized areas such as the development of aviation logistics chains and the optimization of operational processes.
It is known that SATS is currently one of Vietnam Airlines’ key partners in the international market. The group provides ground handling and cargo services at many major airports within the airline’s network, including Singapore, Bangkok, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi, Hong Kong, London, and Paris.
With high-quality services and a network spanning 27 countries, SATS makes a significant contribution to Vietnam Airlines’ international operations and serves as an important partner in the airline’s efforts to enhance service quality.
