The Architecture EXPO 2023 will be organised on Phu Quoc island in the southern province of Kien Giang from September 8-9. This is an event hosted by the Ministry of Construction, in collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Architects and the People's Committee of Kien Giang Province.

On August 23, 2023, at the Ministry of Construction, a Ceremony was held to award the Medal for the Cause of Construction to Mr. Kim Youin - Counselor for Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Korean Embassy to Vietnam. Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van; Counselor of the Korean Embassy to Vietnam Yoon Sang Key; leaders of a number of units under the Ministry of Construction and staffs of the Korean Embassy to Vietnam attended the Ceremony.

On August 22, 2023, the Department of Science, Technology and Environment (Ministry of Construction) in collaboration with the Vietnam College of Urban Works Construction and the Vietnam Green Building Council held a seminar "Promoting green and sustainable construction  - World experience and proposed solutions for Vietnam” with the attention of leaders of units under the Ministry of Construction, representatives of research institutes, universities and experts from domestic and international organizations.

The Ministry of Construction coordinated with the Japan Energy Conservation Center under the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Center for Urban and Industrial Environment to organize a Workshop for sharing experience and practical implementation of zero energy buildings (ZEBs) development in Japan and recommendations for Vietnam on August 9^th.

Vietnam Institute of Architecture (Ministry of Construction) had a meeting with LBN Holdings Company of PDI Group - Worldgroup LLC (Korea) to cooperate in fields of architecture, planning, urban design...

MMI Asia (Asian subsidiary of Messe München GmbH) in collaboration with Vietnamese partners held a press conference to introduce ASEAN Ceramics Expo 2023 on July 28th. Representatives of the Ministry of Construction; leaders of professional associations and a large number of reporters from central and Hanoi press agencies attended the conference.

Ministry of Construction cooperated with German Development Cooperation (GIZ) to organize a workshop on "Assessment the current situation and proposing policies in the Law on adjustment of urban management and development” on June 23^rd 2023. There were leaders of the Department of Construction, Department of Planning and Architecture of the Northern Midlands and Mountainous regions, Red River Delta, North Central Coast, managers, domestic and international experts at the workshop. Deputy Minister Nguyen Tuong Van chaired the workshop.

On June 23^rd, 2023, at the Ministry of Construction, Deputy Minister Nguyen Tuong Van received and worked with Mr. Kim Jin Myeong - General Director of Department of International Economic Affairs, Korean Ministry of Economy and Finance.

The Academy of Managers for Construction and Cities (AMC) held a second workshop  on Social Housing with the theme - Planning, architecture and housing building technology suitable with affordability on June 16^th. Many representatives of professional associations, universities, enterprises inside and outside the construction industry, domestic and international experts attended the workshop.

On June 2nd, 2023, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Construction in collaboration with the World Bank held a conference to review the implementation of the Law on Water Supply and Drainage and propose policies in the Law on Water Supply and Drainage. Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van and Mr. Christophe Lemiere - Acting Director of World Bank project management in Vietnam co-chaired the conference.
