Minister Trinh Dinh Dung checks social housing projects’ progress

Ha Noi (May 29th, 2013) – To check the policies’ feasibility in reality, thereby enabling people to get access to social housing, Mr. Trinh Dinh Dung – Central Party Executive Committee Member, Minister of the Ministry of Construction – carried out a check on social housing projects’ progress in Ha Noi. Viglacera was the first in his checklist.

Viglacera’s Director General, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, reported to Minister Dung on his company’s social housing projects’ progress. The project building house for the low income people in Dang Xa New Urban Area which was highly appreciated by the MOC’s leaders, the media and citizens was considered as an excellent model of social housing in terms of architecture, furniture, living environment and price. With more policies developed by the Government and the MOC favouring and supporting for social housing, Viglacera made a commitment to provide more social houses with more reasonable price in the near future by rationalizing design, maximizing efficiency in room use. Those houses would be suitable for nuclear family with small budget. Being a leading company in providing building materials, Viglacera can supply its social housing projects with special, high quality and e-friendly products with preferential price. Following the Resolution No 02/NQ-CP of the Government, Circular No 07/2013/TT-BXD of the MOC and Circular No 11/2013/TT-NHNN of the State Bank of Vietnam, Viglacera would continue to provide houses for more households with cheapest price.

Minister Trinh Dinh Dung highly appreciated Viglacera for their effort in recent years, especially the project building social housing in Dang Xa New Urban Area phase 2 (which would be started in June 2013). To speed up Viglacera’s projects, according to Minister Dung, Viglacera’s leaders had to report regularly to the MOC on their projects’ progress, especially their difficulties so that the MOC would support timely. Minister Dung guided Viglacera to focus more on building house for workers in industrial zones and surrounding area.
