During this working session, the Party Secretary of Ha Giang province reported to the Minister on difficulties they had to deal with in planning the whole Ha Giang city, the Global Geology park – Dong Van rock plateau, in upgrading Viet Quang town to provincial city. He hoped to receive the MOC’s support in planning.
Ha Giang intended to move vocational schools from the centre city to the suburbs, forming an educational centre.
Minister Dung agreed with Ha Giang’s intention in planning the whole Ha Giang city based on its unique features, and promised to help Ha Giang to finish it master plan.
Minister Dung emphasized the importance and value of the Dong Van rock plateau, not only with the local province, but also with the whole country; thereby it was necessary to pay much attention to its plan. He suggested to combined the Dong Van rock plateau plan into the master plan of Ha Giang city to exploit best its advantages.
