Attending the meeting, in Vietnamese side, there were Dr. Pham Khanh Toan, Director General of International Cooperation Department, Mr. Nguyen Anh Dung, Editor-in-Chief of Newspaper of Construction, Deputy Director of Urban Development Agency, Director of Infrastructure Department, Deputy Director of Real Estate Department, some top Vietnamese construction companies such as Bitexco, Vingroup, Nam Cuong Group, Dong Duong Group, Coma Group, Licogi Group ... and chief reporters of Newspaper of Construction.
On the Japanese side, there were Mr. Tsuneda, Executive Managing Director of the Mainichi Newspaper; Mr. Takahashi, the Daily Engineering & Construction News, Japanese construction companies in designing, housing manufacturer, construction consultants, bridge manufactures, steel manufacturers, transport industry such as Kokusai Kogyo Co. , Nikken Sekkei , Sumitomo Mitsui Construction ...
Scenario of the seminar
At the seminar, on behalf of Newspaper of Construction, Mr. Nguyen Anh Dung expressed his pleasure to welcome and thank the Daily Engineering and Construction News to take the group of Japan – Vietnam Infrastructure business visited and worked at Ministry of Construction. Mr. Dung said with the support of the Ministry of Construction, Newspaper of Construction and the Daily Engineering and Construction News has signed MOU for cooperation. We are proud to be the bridge of information on the areas of construction between the two countries. This event was the result of success cooperation and hopefully from now on, our cooperation would be more effective.
On behalf of Japanese side, Mr. Teruo Tsuneda expressed his thanks for warm reception from the leadership of the Ministry of Construction and Newspaper of Construction to the delegation and thanked to the support of Vietnamese people with Japanese in the past earthquake and tsunami. Mr. Teruo Tsuneda proposed that from 2013 for 40 years later, we will continue to promote exchange and experience sharing between the two newspapers, promote and enhance cultural economic exchange between two countries to a new level. The seminar was the time for Japanese and Vietnamese sides to discuss about the investment experience and related matters.
Earlier, the Deputy Minister of Construction Bui Pham Khanh had a short meeting with Japanese delegation. On behalf of the Ministry of Construction, the Deputy committed that within capability of the Ministry of Construction, we will continue to create favorable conditions for Japanese companies operating in Vietnam. The Deputy hoped that the Daily Engineering and Construction News of Japan and Newspaper of Construction of Vietnam will have more opportunities for further cooperation in the coming time.
