As reported by Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan (Viglacera Corp’s Director General) to Minister Dung at the construction site, Viglacera Corp actively carried out the project with many drastic solutions to ensure social housing’s quality equally to commercial housing’s, and transfer houses to their users before Lunar New Year of 2014 as planned.
The Social Housing Project Dang Xa II Urban area has five 6-storey blocks, equipped elevator, with 1,139 apartments from 36 m2 to 69 m2. During the completion stage, investor is trying to finish extra works such as building garden, landscape… According to Mr. Tuan, with the price of 8,680,000 VND/m2 (VAT and maintainance fee included) and the social and technical infrastructure ensured, this project attracted many customers (more than 700 customers applied register form so far).
After examining the construction site and visiting the model apartment, Minister Trinh Dinh Dung was immensely pleased with the project’s quality, and hoped there would be more sociacl housing projects like this one to meet huge demand on housing in the whole country. Minister Dung said, through State’s policies like land use fee exemption, tax reduction, credit support to both enterprises who build social housing and low-income people who buy social housing, there would be greater demand for housing, which in turn would promote growth in many other economic sectors in such difficult condition of the economy.
Minister Dung highly appreciated Viglacera Corp for their effort in pioneering in developing social housing, and confirmed that using domestic products could reduce price while bring convenient house to the users.
