Minister of Construction Trinh Dinh Dung received Japanese Ambassador in Vietnam

On 28th November, at the office of the Ministry of Construction, Minister Trinh Dinh Dung had a cordial meeting with Mr. Hiroshi Fukada - Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan in Vietnam.

On behalf of the Ministry of Construction, the Minister sincerely thanked to the Embassy of Japan in supporting for the Ministry of Construction in the past years in many aspects, especially ODA to Vietnam. With the help of the Embassy, the Ministry of Construction has successfully received the technical cooperation project funded by JICA on planning, quality control of construction works, water supply ...

 

Minister Trinh Dinh Dung expressed his hope that the Ambassador will continue to work closely with the Ministry of Construction, contribute positively to the developing relation between the two sides. With the responsibility of the government organization of state management, Ministry of Construction will create all conditions for Japanese business as well as investors participating urban development in Vietnam.

The Japanese Ambassador also expressed that Vietnam and Japan are developing more stronger in all fields of economic, diplomatic and cultural exchange. 2013 is not only the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relation, but also the 20th anniversary of Japan resumed ODA for Vietnam. He emphases that ODA projects are priority projects and very important so the Ministry of Construction should support Japanese side to complete projects quickly. The Ambassador noted that the Japanese companies always put on top on the safety and quality of the works.
