On 6th November, in Amsterdam, in the framework of the mission to attend the International Water Week, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Dinh Toan had a meeting with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment of the Netherlands. Joining in the meeting were representatives of some related Departments within Ministry of Construction.
The leaders of Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment of the Netherlands appreciated the visit of Deputy Minister Nguyen Dinh Toan and the delegation and confimed that this was an opportunity for both sides to exchange experiences and promote the relationship between the two countries, contributing to the successful implementation of the comprehensive cooperation.
According to Deputy Minister Nguyen Dinh Toan, the Ministry of Construction is actively implementing the results of the recent high-level visits. He proposed that the Netherlands continues to support Vietnam in the field of construction. At the meeting, the two sides exchanged experiences and discussed about roles of the construction planning, space and urban design. The two sides are expected to discuss and complete the Memorandum of Cooperation between the two ministries in the field of water supply, wastewater treatment and sanitation of the delta in the end of 2013.
