At the meeting, Mrs. Kwakwa emphasized long-term partnership between the Ministry of Construction and the World Bank in recent years, especially in some projects and programs of social housing, urban development WB support and coordinate the deployment of Ministry of Construction, giving very good performance. To continue to develop long-term partnership between the two sides, the WB proposed implementing important projects related to water, especially water sector enterprise reform in Vietnam. WB will study and propose, recommendations for institutional reform, model management, transparency finance in enterprises and water supply company, which helps Vietnamese enterprises restructuring and equitization more effective. Deputy Minister Phan Thi My Linh on behalf leadership of the Ministry of Construction deeply thank the help and support of the WB and Mrs. Kwakwa for Construction Ministry in time. Deputy Minister wishes WB will soon implement effective projects and programs related to water, one of the problems that the Vietnamse government and the Ministry of Construction is very interested. Especially the legal documents relating to business management models, financial management of enterprises in the water sector, and the coordination between the ministries concerned with local government and enterprises. Deputy Minister believes the research and multi-dimensional evaluation of the WB to helping the Ministry of Construction will soon be giving the circulars suitable and practical for water management, management of water's enterprises and equitization effectively enterprises.
Deputy Minister affirmed that the Ministry of Construction will be closely coordinated with the WB in the research and development projects in reforming of the water's enterprise and other projects related to water supply, sanitation and waste disposal .
