On 31st October, Deputy Minister of Construction Cao Lại Quang received and worked with Senior Government Delegation of Ethiopia which lead by Mr. Kebede Gerba Gemossa – Deputy Minister of Water and Energy. In a meeting with the Ministry of Construction, the Ethiopian delegation expressed its wish to share experiences in investment management and attraction in the field of water supply, drainage and sanitation in Vietnam.
Deputy Minister of Construction Cao Lai Quang introduced about the functions of the Ministry of Construction which is a Governmental organization in managing construction sector such as architectural planning, urban development, urban infrastructure and so on. The Government also assigned some other works related to the inter-regional projects, inter-provinces and large projects in the environment sanitation. In recent years, Vietnam has made great efforts and gained good results and achievements in many fields however many challenges in the area of drainage, water supply and environment. The Ministry of Construction is also seeking for suitable partners in this matter.
At the end of the meeting, the two sides confirm that they are willing to cooperate and share valuable experiences in the field of water supply and sanitation in the coming time.
