Minister Trinh Dinh Dung receives Professor Ngo Bao Chau

Ha Noi (June 24th, 2013) – Minister Trinh Dinh Dung, accompanied by Deputy Minister Bui Pham Khanh and heads of the MOC’s functional departments and agencies, warmly welcomed Professor Ngo Bao Chau – Scientific Director of the Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics, and Prof. Le Tuan Hoa – Managing Director of the Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (VIASM).
Prof. Ngo Bao Chau said it was a pleasure for him to visit and had a friendly talk with heads of the MOC, and wished the MOC to support the VIASM to have best facilities which would be suitable for studying and researching maths.
Minister Trinh Dinh Dung was glad to receive Prof. Ngo Bao Chau and Prof. Le Tuan Hoa at the MOC’s head office, and confirmed that it was one of the most important priority of the State in general and the MOC in particular to develop and expand the VIASM. Minister Dung promised to provide favourable conditions for mathematicians to have good working environment.
