On July 3^rd, 2024, at the Ministry of Construction, Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi received and worked with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Vietnam Denny Abdi. Leaders of units under the Ministry of Construction, officials and experts from the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Vietnam attended the working session.

Under the direction and sponsorship of the Ministry of Construction and the Hanoi People's Committee, the Vietbuild Industry Hanoi International Exhibition 2024 was inaugurated at the National Exhibition Palace for Architecture and Construction Planning on May 29^th. The exhibition, themed "Machinery and Equipment - Industrial Goods - Construction Materials & Interior and Exterior Decoration," showcases a wide range of industry innovations and advancements.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Tuong Van worked with General Director of the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) Frank Rijsberman to promote cooperation between the two sides, on May 15^th 2024.

Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi received and worked with Algerian Ambassador to Vietnam Abdelhamid Boubazine, on the occasion of ending the Ambassador's term in Vietnam, on April 23rd, 2024 at the Ministry of Construction’s headquarter. 

Deputy Prime Minister Trần Lưu Quang held talks with Cuban the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment Ricardo Cabrisas on April 15 (local time), as part of his visit to the Latin American country.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang; Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment of Cuba Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz - Chairman of the Cuba-Vietnam Intergovernmental Committee and Minister of Construction of Vietnam Nguyen Thanh Nghi - Chairman of the Vietnam-Cuba Intergovernmental Committee and official members of the two countries' delegations.

Within the framework of the 41st Meeting of the Vietnam-Cuba Intergovernmental Committee in Havana, the Republic of Cuba from April 11-15, 2024, Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi and the working delegation held talks with Cuban Minister of Construction Rene Mesa Villafana and Cuban construction units and businesses.

The 41st session of the Vietnam-Cuba Intergovernmental Committee opened in La Habana – the capital of Republic of Cuba, seeking ways to expand and diversify bilateral economic relations in commensurate with the traditional political relationship between the two Parties, States, and peoples.
