General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping began his two-day State visit to Viet Nam from April 14-15, at  the invitation of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Việt Nam (CPV) Central Committee Tô Lâm and State President Lương Cường.

Vietjet Airlines and AV AirFinance have just signed a cooperation agreement worth 300 million USD, witnessed by the Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam, Ho Duc Phoc, during a business trip aimed at promoting Vietnam-U.S. economic and trade relations. Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van also participated in the Delegation.

On April 9^th, 2025, in Hanoi, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam and the French Directorate General for Civil Aviation signed Annex VI of the Technical Cooperation Agreement between the two parties in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Construction of Vietnam, Le Anh Tuan, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Vietnam, Olivier Brochet.

Within the framework of the official state visit of the King and Queen of the Kingdom of Belgium to Vietnam, on April 1^st, 2025, the Flanders Investment and Trade Promotion Agency (FIT) in cooperation with key industry leaders organized the Workshop "Belgium - Vietnam: Partners in sustainable solutions - Building tomorrow: Vision for resilient and sustainable cities".

The northern mountainous province of Lào Cai and China’s Yunnan Province broke ground on a road bridge across the Red River in the Bát Xát (Lào Cai Province, Việt Nam) - Ba Sa (Yunnan Province, China) border area on March 31^st.

The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Vietnam Maritime and Waterways Administration and the Office of the Premier and Foreign Affairs of the Flanders Region, Kingdom of Belgium was held on March 31^st, in Hanoi. Attending the signing ceremony were Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Xuan Sang, Minister in charge of Brussels and Communications of the Flanders Region, Ms. Cieltje Van Achter.

The Vietnamese Ministry of Construction and the Korean Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) jointly organized the Vietnam - Korea Railway Cooperation Forum 2025. The forum aims to enhance bilateral cooperation and share technology and experience of the Korean side in the railway sector. The forum was co-chaired by Korean Minister of MOLIT Park Sangwoo and Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Danh Huy.

A bilateral meeting between Vietnamese Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh and Korean Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) Park Sangwoo was held in Hanoi, on March 31^st, in the presence of leaders of units under the two ministries and railway and urban sectors businesses of both countries.

On March 24-26, 2025, a working delegation of the Ministry of Construction led by Minister Tran Hong Minh visited and worked in China.

On March 21^st, Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh received and worked with French Minister of Transport Philippe Tabarot on promoting cooperation in the field of transport between the two sides.
