Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai has assigned the Ministry of Construction to urgently review and adjust the additional construction planning on a national scale, focus on the projects on regional and urban planning.
The construction industry needs to concentrate for the construction and improvement of the governmental administration institutions with the focus of Construction Law, Housing Law, Real Estate Law submit to the National Assembly and related guidance documents.
The Ministry of Construction is requested to strengthen the government management combined with reform of administrative procedures in the field of construction investment, project adjustment, adjustment of total investment and delayed and prolonged construction time which leading to waste of invested resources. In addition, the Ministry of Construction should review, amend and supplement the regulations, building design standards, especially the regulations and standards relating to the designs dealing with earthquake and wind storm.
Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai also assigned the Ministry of Construction shall coordinate with the State Bank, Ministry of Finance, the researchers propose to the Prime Minister to implement policies to support credit, long-term financial development for social housing, commercial housing price and low rental housing.
The Ministry of Construction shall coordinate with the Ministry of Finance and other ministries, sectors and localities, researchers to propose policies and measures to attract investment resources to develop urban infrastructure, promoting public investment, research and application of PPP projects, especially projects in the field of drainage and wastewater treatment, solid waste disposal to attract other non-government resources.
