PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng recently ratified the portfolio of Đà Nẵng - Quảng Ngãi Highway project.
The Government chief urged the Ministry of Transport to work with the Ministry of Finance on capital resources for the project, then report to the PM for approval.
The highway, with the length of over 135 km, will stretch from Tuý Loan town, Hoà Vang District in the central city of Đà Nẵng to Quảng Ngãi Province.
To be ground-broken in Q4/2011, the project will be completed by 2016.
The highway is expected to boost economic growth in the central province of Quảng Nam, Quảng Ngãi, and Đà Nẵng City as well.
