As reported by the Investor (Thang Long Project Management Unit, Ministry of Transport), from the commencement date of January 2nd, 2012 until now, the contractor GS Engineering & Construction Corp has completed all bored piles, and is currently under construction of pier footing, pier body, and concrete forming approaching viaduct. Regarding to superstructure items: 63.4% Super cast beams on the site of Vinh Tuong, Son Tay has been completed; 29.35 deck has been completed. About 85% of the approaching road has been completed. The project is expected to be completed at the end of June 2014.

On the construction site, Minister Trinh Dinh Dung highly appreciated leadership, engineers and workers for their hard work on the project to achieve goals 6 months earlier than schedule which meant making Vinh Tuong and Son Tay people’s dream come true, opening a new era for developing Vinh Phuc socio-economy, contributing to relieve traffic congestion in Ha Noi. The Minister recommended the construction site’s commander to pay much attention to the construction quality, safety and workers’ life.
