The building will be carried out based on a decision from the Prime Minister on supporting the poor with housing.
Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper reported that over the past two years, the province has built 3,456 houses for the poor and disbursed a capital of VND 70.6 billion, accounting for 98.93% of the total capital allocated.
Each house has been assisted with VND 12.2 million while each poor family is allowed to borrow VND 8 million from the Bank for Social Policies for each house that is on an area of between 32-36 square metres.
In the fourth quarter, the province will continue to assist the building of 731 houses for poor families, completing the implementation of the decision with a total number of 6,292 houses built.
