Deputy PM Hoang Trung has assigned the Ministry of Construction (MOC) to work with the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) and the Ministry of Finance (MOF) to devise a budget plan on building the National History Museum.
The MOC was asked to work closely with the Management Board of the project on building the museum, and with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) and relevant agencies of Ha Noi in developing contents and display approaches in order to report to the Government.
The MCST was required to direct its committee on developing the museum’s contents and display approaches to prepare reports on the project’s implementation progress and an objective selection of consultants on the museum’s technical and art system as regulated.
The MPI and MOF were asked to work with the MOC in devising the feasible budget plan in accordance with the Law on Public Investment to fund for the project in 2015.
The Hanoi municipal People’s Committee was assigned to work with the MOC to address arising issues related to the project’s realization to ensure an infrastructural synchronization between the project and the city.
The project was approved by the PM with the aim of building a significant cultural work to preserve and promote the nation’s historical and cultural values.
It will introduce the nation’s history and great achievements in national protection and construction; educate the public on the nation’s sound traditions; and serve demands on studying, communicating and popularizing history, cultural heritage and museology, as well as the needs for cultural exploration among the public and international friends.
