《中华人民共和国城乡规划法》已由中华人民共和国第十届全国人民代表大会常务委员会第三十次会议于2007年10月28日通过,现予公布,自2008年1月1日起施行.

  • The Socialist Republic of Viet Nam (hereinafter referred to as “Viet Nam”), of the one part, andthe Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as “the Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union”), and the Eurasian Economic Union, of the other part:
  • This report has the objective of informing the government of Vietnam (goV) on how the financing framework for municipal infrastructure in Vietnam can be strengthened. It is based on an assessment of the constraints and opportunities that sub-national governments face in accessing financing for infrastructure development. It also draws upon lessons and good practices from international experience in this area, considering their relevance for Vietnam. A set of recommendations and implementable actions is provided, recognizing the broader context of ongoing reforms that are needed in Vietnam on institutions, incentives and the availability of information.  
  •  The World Bank’s Vietnam Urbanization Review was led by Dean Cira, and prepared by a core team consisting of Arish Dastur, Henry Jewell, Austin Kilroy, Nancy Lozano, Huyen Thi Phuong Phan, and Hyoung Gun Wang. The team benefited from the strategic guidance provided by Stephen Karam and Somik Lall. 
  • Asia has the largest construction spending worldwide – contributing 44% of total value in 2013. In the coming years, economic recovery rate in developed countries is expected to be higher than in developing countries, which indicate cash flows movement to developed countries in short term. In Asia, infrastructure construction sector accounts for the highest spending, 37% of total value. Due to the weak demand in China, price of building materials in the world tends to decrease and stabilize. In long-term, developing economies are projected to account for over 60% of global construction output in 2025. 
  • The Land Transparency study was produced as part of the Vietnam Transparency Project (VTP), an effort to systematically measure transparency, provide actionable advice on how to improve transparency, and analyze the causes and effects of transparency in Vietnam.The VTP is supported by UK-Aid through the Vietnam Governance, Economic Management and Social Protection Programme Trust Fund, and by the World Bank. The VTP’s activities are guided by an Advisory Board comprised of opinion leaders serving in their personal capacities: Mr. Nguyen Duc Kien (Former Deputy Chairman of National Assembly), Mr. Nguyen Dinh Quyen (Vice Chairman, NA Committee on Judiciary), Mme. Pham Chi Lan (Former Deputy Chairwoman and Secretary General of VCCI), Mr. Le Van Lan (Deputy Head, Northwestern Region Steering Committee of the VCP), Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Thoa (Director of Department of Criminal and Administrative Laws, Ministry of Justice), Prof. Pham Duy Nghia (Dean of Law Faculty, HCMC Economics University/ Fulbright Economics Teaching Program), Mr. Tran Ngoc Chau (Editor-in-Chief, Financial Business News Channel), and Ms. Nguyen Minh Tam (Head of News Division, Labor Newspaper). The VTP is also supported by a Secretariat, housed in CDF and led by Thuy Anh Nguyen. 
  • The northern province of Quang Ninh will complete housing support for 154 disadvantaged households and 199 other beneficiary families by the end of year, according Vu Van Dien, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee. 
  • The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the People’s Committee of southern Dong Nai province have reached consensus on the funding for a drainage and wastewater treatment project in Bien Hoa city after 10 years of negotiations. 
  • Hanoi’s Bach Mai Hospital kicked off the construction of its new centre for examination and treatment on October 28, which will be capable of receiving emergency patients by helicopter.
  • The Prime Minister has approved a plan for solid waste management in key economic zones in the north until 2030. 
  • The Netherlands’ Philips Lighting will work with the Investment and Industrial Development Corporation (Becamex IDC) to implement a cooperation agreement on sustainable lighting and turn Binh Duong city into a smart city.
