On March 12, at the headquarter of the Ministry of Construction (MOC), Deputy Minister Le Quang Hung had a meeting with Mr. Akio Kasuga, member of the The International Federation for Structural Concrete (FIB).
At the meeting, Mr. Kasuga introduced with the Deputy Minister about FIB which is well-known organization for a long time involving many activities and construction projects in Viet Nam. Nowadays, FIB hopes to develop more and further involvement in Viet Nam.
Deputy Minister Le Quang Hung also expressed his hope that MOC will have close cooperation and information exchange to participate in the activities of FIB. However, there are still many obstacles in participating with FIB such as fees, costs of travel which are main barriers. Concrete Association of Vietnam is ready to join FIB and will keep regularly contact with FIB and hope to have the specific cooperation in the future.
