At the meeting, Minister Trinh Dinh Dung affirmed that the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Cuba has been tightened and improved strongly. The two countries cooperated closely in implementing the programs of rice production, aquaculture which are practical works contributing to enhance the Cuban food production. The Minister appreciated the new Investment Law of Cuba and the recent visit of Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment to Vietnam.
Minister Trinh Dinh Dung expressed his hope that the visit of Minister Maria Del Carmen to open new opportunities for cooperation which can be discussed and included in the exchange at the 32nd session of Vietnam - Cuba Inter-Government Committee be held in October.
Minister Maria del Carmen expressed her thanks to Minister Trinh Dinh Dung for receiving the Cuban delegation. As many other Cubans people, Minister Maria del Carmen is looking forward to visit to Vietnam for experience, learning and listening from Vietnam friends. The Minister hopes that after the visit, the two sides will have the specific cooperation in the field of food industry.
