Mr. Trần Khang Thụy, the representative of Maryland in Việt Nam, said the fund will make its official decision on the issue in October. Besides entertainment and tourism projects being carried out in Maryland, the fund has poured big investments in the Republic of Korea and China. This is the first time the fund has sought investment opportunities in Việt Nam.
The representative of the Korean group Lotte in Maryland has shown interests in sea potentials in Ninh Chữ and the national forest of Núi Chúa in Ninh Thuận. The group wants to build resorts and a university village there.
