On April 18 in Can Tho City, Deputy Minister TrinhDinh Dung chaired the workshop comments on draft decree on projectmanagement of urban development and project innovation in managementmechanism of construction investment. Representatives of the Can ThoCity People’s Committee, Department of Construction of Can Tho and morethan 200 delegates of the management agencies, urban construction of CuuLong River Delta have attended.
According to Deputy Minister Trinh Dinh Dung, this Decree after approved will be replace the Decree No. 02/2006/NĐ-CP of the Government on the new urban regulations.
The workshop focused on discussing the scope, subjects adjusted the Decree Determining the area of urban development, revitalization of the old urban areas, the new expanded area, classification of urban development projects (framework infrastructure project, housing projects,...) scale and nature of each project, the investor (businesses, local government) and conditions for each type of urban development projects (for an investor, secondary investors, particularly the requirements on financial conditions and professional experience).
