Vietnam real estate and building material fair 2016 opens
The Vietnam Real Estate and Building Material Fair 2016 – VietHome Expo 2016 officially opened at Phu Tho Gymnasium in Ho Chi Minh City on July 8.
Themed ‘Real Product, Real Value’, the event is jointly held by the Vietnam Association of Realtors and the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Business Association’s Trade Promotion and Services Corp.
The event attracted over 70 domestic and international enterprises showcasing their products in the fields of housing, construction, decoration, finance and banking at 600 booths.
Vietnam’s real estate market began recovering from the end of 2013, with the number of successful transactions in 2015 doubling in Hanoi and a 1.8-fold increase in Ho Chi Minh City as compared to the previous year, said Deputy Minister of Construction Do Duc Duy.
The 2016 market will see diverse products that are suitable, meeting customers’ demand and payment capability, he added.
Conferences and meetings will be organised to introduce new policies on housing and the real estate market in Vietnam during the five-day fair.
