Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association coordinated with the Ministry of Construction to organize a seminar on the draft Law on Water Supply and Drainage on September 29th, at the International Exhibition Center of Thu Dau Mot city, Binh Duong province. This is one of a series of activities of Vietnam Water Week 2023 held in Binh Duong, with the attendance of number of delegates from ministries and central branches; localities; domestic and foreign enterprises; experts and scientists.

A meeting of the Project Steering Committee for”Strengthening Capacity in developing state management tools for construction projects” took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Construction, on September 29th, in atttendance of Deputy Minister Bui Hong Minh; Deputy Chief Representative of JICA Office in Vietnam Takanobu Shinoda and related parties.

On the morning of September 28, Binh Duong Water - Environment Corporation coordinated with the Vietnam Water Supply and Drainage Association to organize a ceremony to open the "Vietnam Water Week 2023" at the International Exhibition Center of Binh Duong New City, in attendance of Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van.

During a business trip to Quang Binh with a high-ranking delegation of the Cuban Party and State to attend the 50th anniversary of Cuban leader Fidel Castro's visit to the liberated region of Southern Vietnam, on September 26th, Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi had a meeting and discussion with Cuban Minister of Construction Rene Mesa Villafana.

The second VIETBUILD Hanoi 2023 International Exhibition with the theme "Real Estate - Interior and Exterior Decoration - Construction and Building Materials" officially opened on September 20th under the direction and sponsor of the Ministry of Construction and Hanoi People's Committee, Information Center - Ministry of Construction and VIETBUILD International Construction Exhibition Organizing Company.

During a business trip to China on September 20^th, the delegation of the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam led by Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi had a meeting with the Department of Housing and Urban and Rural Construction of Guangdong province on fields of urban - rural planning, urban development, housing and real estate market, construction management and construction quality... Mr. Truong Dung, Party Secretary, Director of the Department of Housing and Urban and Rural Construction of Guangdong province and officials of the Department received the delegation of the Ministry of Construction.

On September 18th, in Chongqing (China), Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi had a working session with Mr Yue Thuan -  Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Committee for Housing and Urban and Rural Construction of Chongqing City.

Ministry of Construction organized a talkshow "Policies and solutions to promote green building development" on September 18th. This is one of the side events of Green Building Week 2023.

The China – ASEAN Ministerial roundtable on Construction took place in Naning City, Guangxi province, China on September 16^th. Chinese Minister of Housing and Urban and Rural Construction Ni Hong and Ministers in charge of the construction sector of ASEAN countries attended the conference. On the Vietnamese side, there was Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi.

Academy of Managers for Construction and Cities (AMC - Ministry of Construction) coordinated with the Ministry of Transport and the Vietnam - Korea Cooperation Center to organize a workshop to connect the Urban development technology Project and smart infrastructure in 2023 (2023 VKC Technical Network Meeting) in presence of representatives of agencies under the Korean Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport; functional units under the Vietnamese Ministry of Construction; Associations, Departments of Construction in some localities and Enterprises on September 13th.

From September 6-8^th, 2023, the Ministry of Construction's working delegation led by Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh had a business trip in China to exchange and learn about legal policies and experiences on housing development, social housing and real estate market management in China to serve for the completion of the draft Housing Law (amended) and Real Estate Business Law (amended).
