Speaking at the meeting, Minister Ali Aoun highly appreciated the cooperative relationship between the Government and people of Vietnam and Algeria in general, and the cooperation between the MoC and agencies under the Algerian Government in particular.
On the basis of the good friendship, currently, the two sides are actively discussing contents to prepare for the 12th Meeting of the Vietnam - Algeria Intergovernmental Committee. Minister Ali hopes that the two sides will further strengthen and expand cooperation in the coming time.
Welcoming Minister Ali Aoun and the Algerian delegation to visit and work with the Ministry of Construction and attend the 12th Meeting of the Vietnam - Algeria Intergovernmental Committee, Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi said that recently, friendly relations between the two countries have achieved significant progress, especially cooperation in the fields of trade, information and communication, agriculture, aquaculture, and oil and gas. However, the results of cooperation are not good as expected. Therefore, at the Meeting, Minister Nghi proposed two sides need to discuss specifically and propose appropriate solutions to bring Vietnam - Algeria cooperation to new heights.
As the standing agency of the Vietnam Subcommittee in the Vietnam - Algeria Intergovernmental Committee, the Ministry of Construction has been closely coordinating with ministries and branches to actively prepare for the 12th Meeting of the Vietnam - Algeria Intergovernmental Committee, contributing to consolidating and further developing the solidarity, friendship, and good traditions between the two countries.
At the end of the meeting, Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi and Minister Ali Aoun agreed to further strengthen cooperation between the two sides in the coming time.
