Ministry of Construction worked with Guangdong province on some issues

During a business trip to China on September 20^th, the delegation of the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam led by Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi had a meeting with the Department of Housing and Urban and Rural Construction of Guangdong province on fields of urban - rural planning, urban development, housing and real estate market, construction management and construction quality... Mr. Truong Dung, Party Secretary, Director of the Department of Housing and Urban and Rural Construction of Guangdong province and officials of the Department received the delegation of the Ministry of Construction.

Ministry of Construction's working delegation also wants to understand, learn and exchange management experiences in planning, urban development, and housing development, especially social housing in China. Guangdong is an international scale metropolis in terms of architectural landscape, planning and urban and housing development speed.

After nearly 30 years of implementing innovation policies and integrating into the world economy, Vietnam has achieved great achievements in national development. Economic potential is improved, the material and spiritual life of the people are gradually enhanced.

In recent years, the pace of urbanization in Vietnam has rapidly grown. The appearance and quality of urban areas are increasingly improving. Urbanization in Vietnam has been promoting the implementation of the country's industrialization and modernization goals.

In the coming time, the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam will study and amend the Urban Planning Law; Building a new Law on Urban Development and Management... Therefore, the Ministry really wants to learn from the experience of the Department of Housing and Urban and Rural Construction of Guangdong province in the field of urban planning and development.

Vietnam is currently implementing a program to develop 1 million social housing apartments in the period 2020-2030. China in general and Guangzhou city (Guangdong province)  in particular have been very successful in developing large-scale concentrated social housing projects. The Ministry of Construction wishes to study and learn from the experience in housing project development, especially social housing; renovate and rebuild old apartments; management and use of apartment buildings, real estate business management.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed specifically and in-depth about China's housing development and real estate management policies, including policies on social housing development; renovation and rebuilding old apartments; management and use of apartment buildings; policies related to buying and selling housing and real estate formed in the future; regulations on operations of real estate trading floors, real estate brokerage...

In the field of urban - rural planning, issues on urban planning (including objects and subjects of planning, appraisal and approval of planning...); planning organization and implement are discussed by two sides.

In the field of urban development, the two sides discussed the content of developing legal documents related to urban planning and development; building and developing smart urban areas; practical experience in urban areas management and administration; experience in urban renovation and reconstruction; urban development in respond to climate change; building and developing smart urban areas...

Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi and Department Director Truong Dung gave souvenirs to each other.

The Ministry of Construction also learns about legal regulations on construction quality management; relevant processes, regulations and technical standards; assessing project quality; renovating and demolishing unsafe old apartments in urban areas.. .In addition, the Department of Housing and Urban and Rural Construction of Guangdong province also introduced the model of the Housing and Urban and Rural Construction Committee of Guangdong province with many functions for the Ministry of Construction to refer to.
