On May 26, 2025, within the framework of French President Emmanuel Macron’s visit to Vietnam, the Vietnamese Ministry of Construction and the French Ministry of Transport signed a Letter of Intent on promoting cooperation in the field of transport sector.

On the afternoon of May 26^th, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had a meeting with his Lao counterpart Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone on the occasion of attending the 46th ASEAN Summit.

On May 22nd, 2025, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam (MOC) and the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) held a Project  agreement signing ceremony “Vietnam - Switzerland Urban Development Program”, aimed to support Vietnamese cities in enhancing climate change resilience and sustainable urban development.

On May 20th, Vietnamese Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh had a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Vietnam Choi Youngsam in Hanoi to discuss future cooperation opportunities.

On May 20th, Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh received Mr. Zhu Guangxie, Vice Chairman of Metallurgical Corporation of China (MCC).

On April 24^th, 2025, in Hanoi, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van met and worked with Mr. Saleh Djeghloul - Chairman of the Algeria - Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarian Group. Attending the meeting were leaders of a number of units under the Ministry of Construction and members of the Algeria - Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarians Group.

On April 24^th, in Hanoi, the University of Transport Technology (UTT) held a ceremony to announce the Journal of Science and Transport Technology (JSTT) was officially accepted into the Scopus database - one of the largest and most prestigious scientific index systems in the world. Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh attended and spoke at the ceremony.

This morning (April 18^th), in Hanoi, Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh had a meeting and worked with Ms. Mariam Sherman – WB Country Director for Vietnam, Cambodia, and Lao.  Attending the meeting were leaders of units under the Ministry of Construction; senior officials and experts of the WB.

On April 14^th, 2025 (local time), First Secretary of the Communist Party and President of the Republic of Cuba Miguel Díaz-Canel received a delegation of the Vietnamese Government, led by Deputy Minister of Finance Le Tan Can, at the Palace of Revolution. Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van represented the Vietnam-Cuba Intergovernmental Committee to join the delegation. The meeting affirmed the traditional friendship and special solidarity between Vietnam and Cuba.

Authorized by Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc, during his working visit to Cuba (April 11-12, 2025), the Vietnamese Government delegation led by Deputy Minister of Finance Le Tan Can held talks with Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Oscar Pérez Oliva - Fraga to promote bilateral cooperation. Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van attended and exchanged opinions at the talks.

General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping began his two-day State visit to Viet Nam from April 14-15, at  the invitation of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Việt Nam (CPV) Central Committee Tô Lâm and State President Lương Cường.
