Launching the Action Month on occupational safety and health in the construction industry in 2022

Deputy Minister Le Quang Hung launched the Action Month on occupational safety and health in the Construction sector in 2022 with the theme "Strengthening measures to reduce risks in occupational safety and health, improve working conditions, safely adapt and effectively control the COVID-19 epidemic”.

The Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health in the Construction Industry in 2022 is one of the important events to raise awareness and responsibility of officials, public employees of the Construction industry on occupational safety and hygiene; prevent occupational accidents and diseases; improve working conditions; promote responsibility and comply with the law of units and enterprises operating in the field of construction; safely adapt and effectively control the COVID-19 epidemic, contribute to ensure the stability and development of enterprises and the whole industry in general.

Deputy Minister Le Quang Hung emphasized that occupational safety directly related to the life and health of workers as well as the sustainable development of enterprises. Over the years, the Ministry of Construction has focused on building and perfecting legal institutions and technical regulations in order to create a legal - technical corridor for entities participating in construction activities and as an effective tool to perform state management in this field.

Deputy Minister Le Quang Hung acknowledged and praised agencies, units, organizations, businesses and individuals who have made great efforts and positive contributions to ensure labor safety in construction and protect the life and health of construction workers. Deputy Minister also emphasized that subjects participating in construction activities and workers need to be more proactive and active in complying and fully implementing their rights, responsibilities and obligations in accordance with the law on occupational safety and health.
