Deputy Minister Bui Pham Khanh and Mr. SHIMIZU Akira highly appreciated the close cooperation between the Ministry of Construction and JICA in implementing cooperation programs and projects over the past time, including: Project of Capacity Building ensures construction quality (2010-2013); Project of Capacity Building in Cost Estimation, Contract Management, Quality, Safety in Construction Investment Projects (2015-2018); Project of Capacity Building in development of state management tools for construction projects (2020-2023).
The results of cooperation projects between the Ministry of Construction and JICA were summarized, proposed and specified by the Ministry of Construction in the Government's Decrees in the field of construction. In particular, the Project on Capacity Building in Development of State Management Tools for Construction Projects (2020-2023) is currently being implemented by two sides.
Deputy Minister Bui Pham Khanh and Mr. SHIMIZU Akira agreed to further strengthen cooperation between the Ministry of Construction and JICA in the near future. Two sides would focus on creating favorable conditions as well as coordinating to deal with difficulties, problems for businesses and organizations of Vietnam and Japan in relating activities.
