The Ministry of Construction (MoC) held the Ceremony of “Awarding Medal for the Cause of the Construction Sector Development and Certification of the Minister of Construction” for Mr Thomas Kompier – The First Secretary of the Netherlands Embassy to Vietnam, because of his contributions to the development of construction sector on June 27th. There were Deputy Minister of Construction – Phan Thi My Linh and the Netherlands Ambassador to Vietnam – Nienke Trooster at the Ceremony.
Deputy Minister Phan Thi My Linh awards the Medal for the Cause of Construction Sector Development and the Certificate of the Minister of Construction to Mr Thomas Kompier
Deputy Minister Phan Thi My Linh expressed the contributions of Mr Thomas Kompier in strengthening the cooperative relation between the MoC and the Netherlands Embassy to Vietnam and agencies under Netherlands Government in a variety of activities and projects, especially in the field of water supply and drainage, environment sanitation and response to climate change.
For his part, Mr Tom Kompier gave his pleasure to be awarded the medal and certificate of the minister of construction for his contributions to the construction sector development in Vietnam and thanked MoC’s leaders and experts in coordinating and creating favorable conditions for him to fulfill his tasks. In the coming time, in his new post, he will be a linking bridge to further enhance the cooperative relation between the Vietnam MoC and Netherlands Government agencies, organizations and businesses.
On the same day, Deputy Minister Linh awarded the Medal for the Cause of Construction to Mr Lee YongWook – Counselor of Construction, Korean Embassy to Vietnam and the Certificate of the Minister of Construction to Mr Jung JaeHan – Specialist of the Korea Land and Housing Corporation working at the MoC.
Deputy Minister Phan Thi My Linh awards the Medal for the Cause of Construction Sector Development to Mr Lee YongWook.
Mr Lee YongWook and Mr Jung JaeHan have played an important role in construction development such as enhancing the cooperative relation between the Vietnam MoC and the Korea Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transportation; building working programs between leaders and experts of two sides; assisting the MoC in making the Housing Law 2014 and the Real Estate Business Law 2014…
Deputy Minister Linh desired Mr Lee YongWook and Mr Jung JaeHan would continually contribute to further develop the cooperative relation between the MoC and Korea MLIT and LH Corporation.
