Deputy Minister Phan Thi My Linh receives Director of KOICA office in Vietnam

Hanoi (March 22th, 2017), Deputy Minister Phan Thi My Linh had a working session with the Director of KOICA Office in Vietnam - Mr Kim Jinoh. There were leaders of International Cooperation Department and Planning - Architecture Department at the working session.

At the working session, Mr Kim Jinoh highly appraised the importance of social housing planning and development in Vietnam, and said: “KOICA is currently studying and evaluating of pre-feasibility for consideration and approval for the technical assistance project of Ministry of Construction on making comprehensive program and pilot model of social housing in Vietnam”.

Speaking at the reception, Deputy Minister Linh congratulated Mr Kim Jinoh who was appointed as the Director of KOICA Office in Vietnam and said, “The cooperative tie between Vietnam and Korea is being developed by the both countries’s interest”.

Deputy Minister Phan Thi My Linh highly appreciated the role and active cooperation between the KOICA Office in Vietnam and the MoC, especially the Director of KOICA who always supported and faciliated ODA projects on urban planning and development, including the Green Urban Planning Project in Vietnam. This project is currently being carried out in Thai Nguyen and Kien Giang.

Deputy Minister Phan Thi My Linh believed in Mr Kim Jinoh, with his talent and experiences, would help the KOICA office in Vietnam to further develop, contribute to foster the coopertaion between Vietnamese MoC and Korean partners in the fields of urban and housing planning and development as well as enhance the comprehensive tie between Vietnam and Korea.
