Hanoi (March 23th, 2017), the ceremony of awarding medal “For the cause of construction industry development” toMr. Fukushima Yosuke – First Secretary of the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam was held at the Office of Ministry of Construction. Mr. Le Quang Hung - the Deputy Minister awarded the medal to Mr.Fukushima Yosuke in presence of leaders of MoC’ agencies.

Mr. Hung said: “Mr. Fukushima Yosuke played important role in developing of construction industry and cooperating between the Vietnamese MoC and the Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, as well as of linking bridge for the comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Japan. In particularly, Mr Fukushima Yosuke has participated in many events and seminars to share experience of Japan in making policies and standards related to the construction industry”.
Mr. Hung emphasized the efforts and contribution of Mr. Fukushima Yosuke in organizing short-term training programs in Japan for Vietnamese MoC experts for improving the capacity of staffs in construction, urban management and other fields related to construction industry, in actively coordinating with the Vietnamese MoC to implement the Project “Capacity enhancement in cost estimation, contract management, quality and safety in construction investment projects in Vietnam funded by JICA”.
Mr Fukushima gave his pleasure to be awarded the medal of MoC and thanked MoC leaders for their interest in coordinating and creating favorable conditions for him to fulfill his tasks.

Mr Fukushima also shared many best memories with the MoC, especially in working trips to national key works such as Lai Chau Hydropower Plant.
