Deputy Minister of Construction Pham Minh Ha has paid on-site visit Long Thanh International Airport to inspect and review all preparations for the inauguration ceremony of the project components and the launch of the first flight landing at the airport, on December 18th.

During the inspection, Deputy Minister Phạm Minh Ha carefully reviewed every stage of the preparations for the event taking place on December 19th. He also requested that project owners and relevant functional forces continue to thoroughly review and strictly inspect technical, security, safety, operational organization, and coordination conditions, ensuring that all plans are fully and synchronously prepared, leaving no shortcomings.

The Deputy Minister assessed that the preparation work has basically been carried out thoroughly and seriously, with all key components ready.
Based on the on-site inspection, the Deputy Minister noted that the preparation work have been implemented carefully and responsibly, and all critical items are fully prepared and ready for operation.

An overview of Long Thanh Airport ahead of the arrival of three inaugural flights.
According to observations, as of this time, all preparations for the event on December 19th at Component Project 3 of Long Thanh International Airport, invested by the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), have basically been completed as planned. The aircraft apron area, especially the area near the western wing of the passenger terminal, has been cleaned and tidied up.

The runway and taxiway systems have also been thoroughly inspected and reviewed in detail by specialized units, ensuring full compliance with safety standards and readiness to receive three flights on the inauguration day.
Meanwhile, at Component Project 2, including the air traffic control tower, technical facilities, and the VIP building have been completed and placed in a ready-to-operate state.

VATM has also completed the apperance of the air traffic control tower - the “brain” of Long Thanh Airport.
The surrounding area of the air traffic control tower has been comprehensively upgraded, thoroughly cleaned, and enhanced with additional flowers and lawns, creating a modern, green, clean, and attractive appearance. All facilities in this area are now ready, meeting the requirements for organizing the December 19th event.
