On the morning of November 30th, at Dong Hoi Airport, Quang Tri province, the Northern Air Traffic Management Company held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Dong Hoi Air Traffic Control Station.

According to Mr. Nguyen Manh Thang, Director of the Northern Air Traffic Management Company, the “Dong Hoi Air Traffic Control Station” project has a total investment of about 116 billion VND from the capital of the Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation.
The investment in the construction of Dong Hoi Air Traffic Control Station and auxiliary items to synchronize the infrastructure with Dong Hoi Airport and works to ensure flight operations is very necessary to meet the requirements of socio-economic development, national security and growth of the aviation industry.
The project, once completed, will meet the objectives of flight management and operations of Dong Hoi Airport when the new airport terminal is put into operation, welcoming many passengers and many flights, contributing to the economic development of Quang Tri in particular and the country's economy in general.

Speaking at the ceremony, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation Le Hoang Minh expressed his gratitude to the leaders of the Departments, Boards and Branches of Quang Tri province for their support, facilitation and constant support for the project of the Corporation; at the same time, he highly appreciated, acknowledged and commended the Northern Air Traffic Management Company (the unit assigned as the investor) for its efforts to coordinate and implement the work to meet the project's commencement time and ensure the inauguration on time as assigned.
The Chairman of the Members’ Council of the Corporation expressed confidence that the Dong Hoi Air Traffic Control Station will soon operate effectively, contributing to socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and improving the quality of flight operations in the region.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation presented gifts to households in especially difficult circumstances in Dong Thuan Ward, Quang Tri Province.
