The second VIETBUILD Hanoi 2020 was officially opened on November 25th, 2020 at the National Construction Exhibition Palace. There were Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh, former Minister of Construction Nguyen Hong Quan, representatives of central agencies and associations at the opening ceremony.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh said: over the past time, the COVID-19 pandemic, long historical floods had a great impact on socio-economic development, especially for central provinces. However, under the prompt and drastic direction of the Government and the Prime Minister, together with the efforts of ministries, branches, localities, business community and people nationwide, the socio-economic situation in 10 months of the year 2020 was generally maintained and had many signs of prosperity.

In that context, the second VIETBUILD Hanoi International Exhibition 2020 will be a great opportunity for real estate businesses, building materials, interior and exterior decoration to restore production aiming to develop socio-economic. This is also a practical activity to celebrate the success of the Party Congress of Hanoi City as well as the Party Congress at all levels, towards the 13th National Party Congress.
On behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of Construction, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh would like to thank leaders of the ministries, central branches, the People's Committees of provinces and cities for coordinating with the Ministry of Construction in the state management of the Ministry, as well as creating favorable conditions for businesses operating in the construction sector to develop.

The second VIETBUILD Hanoi 2020 has more than 1200 booths of domestic and foreign businesses in all fields of construction sector. In addition, many other activities such as seminars, contests, business forums and promotions, introducing improved products, technologies and building materials are implemented within the framework of the exhibition (taking place from November 25-29, 2020).
